Dress for youe size- The rest and more

29 Sep

Hi Guys,

I would like to apologise for the lack of blogs. My routine has been jumbled slightly and I needed to allocate time to do this. However I am back, and after a lot of thinking I realised that the ‘dress for your size’ will soon become extremely tedious and boring for you guys. So I am going to finish it off here, with a couple more…

Hourglass

The hourglass figure recalls old school Hollywood glamour and is a look that Kelly Brook has down to a tee.

A woman with an hourglass figure often tries to hide her curves, but now’s the time to celebrate them! Make the most of your gorgeous body shape and flaunt it in this season’s latest trends. Opt for plain colours or geometric prints, and asymmetric shapes that show off your curves. Take a look at our suggestions.

Dresses

An empire line is perfect for those of us with wide hips as it cuts in at the waist and flows over your lower half, hiding any lumps and bumps.

There are so many different shapes that people are, I can’t put them all on here. However, for those who want more information on a particular shape, or would like to know what shape they are; either comment on the blog or email me through the site. if you would like to find out what shape you are please add your measurements to the message.

Before I say goodbye for today, I would like to share with you something that has been really playing on my mind. As we get older we become more interested in standing out, especially with our clothes, we don’t want to have what someone else has but  something  completely special, which sums  us up and ourcharacter. This aim is extremely difficult because the mainstream shops where we enjoy shopping e.g. Topshop, make it incredibly difficult to get something different that only belongs to you and no one else. This plays on my mind because recently it has become a constant struggle to find my individuality and freedom within fashion. This blog’s slogan is ‘Fashion is Freedom’, it’s the way we show our true selves, but how do we do this when everyone wears the same thing. My solution, which is probably the same for many others is to go vintage. We all know how hard it is to find good vintage in charity shops and the vintage shops can be so difficult to get to. But many don’t try vintage websites like this one: rokit.co.uk .I found rokit in Vogue and was amazed by the astounding prices. You have to have a bit of faith with the sizes, but all in all there are some incredible finds that will truly make you stand out.

For example, I am in love with this Orange, Black and White Tribal Tie-Front Blouse, which is only £20.00, check it out!

Remember, Fashion is Freedom
